Garth Crosby profile image

Dr. Garth V. Crosby is an Associate Professor in the Engineering Technology & Industrial Distribution Department with a joint appointment in the Multidisciplinary Engineering Department in the College of Engineering at Texas A&M University. He is also an adjunct faculty in the Department of Computer Science and the School of Applied Engineering and Technology at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics from the University of the West Indies, Mona, an M.S. in Computer Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Florida International University. Dr. Crosby teaches/has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in embedded systems, network security, and applied cryptography, and senior capstone engineering design. Dr. Crosby’s research focuses on securing emerging computer networked systems, including cyber-physical systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), and the Internet of Robotic Things (IoRT), leveraging cutting-edge technologies like machine learning, federated learning, and post-quantum cryptography (PQC). He also conducts research in blockchain applications and STEM Education. Dr. Crosby serves as an editorial board member of the International Journal of Security and Networks (IJSN) and has served as a reviewer for numerous conferences, magazines, and journals, including IEEE INFOCOM and IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics. He is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a member of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), and the IEEE Eta Kappa Nu Honor Society.

Dr. Sena G. Hounsinou received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, M.S., and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2018.

She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Cybersecurity at Metro State University, St. Paul. Before joining Metro State University, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Howard University. Her research interests include Reconfigurable Computing, FPGA-based systems, Embedded Systems Security, and Cyber-Physical Systems.

Dr. Yousef Alsenani is an Assistant Professor in the Information Systems Department at King Abdulaziz University Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.  His research focuses on Cloud/Edge Computing, Privacy enhancement technology, and Machine Learning.
